Montreux Jazz Voice Competition semi-finalist Helena Hulsman (Netherlands) and international award-winning composer-pianist Tze Toh (Singapore) form a dynamic contemporary jazz duo that performs originals that’s a unique blend of jazz, folk/pop, classical, film score and free improvisation. Their music is inspired by the ocean and life’s journeys - a colourful, rhythmic sonic tapestry characterized by eclectic, multi-layered compositions and poignant lyrics, interspersed often with exhilarating free form improvisations.
