Memories of 2055: Worlds Beyond Workshop

Music director / composer-pianist Tze Toh will be sharing about the creative process behind the concert Memories of 2055: Worlds Beyond, including his approach of combining composition and improvisation in his works, creating a narrative through instrumental interplay, sound design, composing unique melodies, utilising diverse palettes of harmony / texture, working with different instruments, genres and musical languages. He and musicians Lazar T. Sebastine (Carnatic violin) and Marvin Leung (tenor saxophone) will also be playing extracts from the concert, and sharing musical examples and demonstrations.

Participants are encouraged to take part in the discussion; there will be a segment of Q&A for each section / topic.
