Martin Peh

Renyu Martin Peh is a 1st year student pursuing a Masters of Music degree at the Yale School of Music, under Professor Hyo Kang. Born in Singapore, Martin began playing the violin under Kang Choon Sim and continued his studies in America at the Idyllwild Arts Academy under Todor Pelev. He studied under Keng-Yuen Tseng at the Peabody Institute of Music in Spring 2015 and also with T’ang Quartet violinist, Ng Yu Ying and Alexander Souptel at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music before graduating with Honours in 2016.
He has appeared as a soloist with Mode Orchestra in Singapore and also as a guest soloist with the Penang Philharmonic Orchestra. Martin's admiration for chamber music led him to play the both the violin and the viola in chamber music groups while under the guidance of the members of Singapore's Premier String Quartet - T'ang Quartet.
